This charming walkway links Whitstable Harbour to the nearby city of Canterbury. Whether you want a walk or a cycle there is plenty of woodland and fine views to be explored. If you do the whole seven mile route you’ll pass Winding Pond, travel through Blean Woods and if you’re feeling energetic you can walk up some hills to take you out of Canterbury and enjoy breath-taking views of the city.

Just down the road in Canterbury, Dane John Gardens is worth a visit. Located within the city walls it’s a beautiful, historical garden. Whether you want a walk to stretch your legs or somewhere to enjoy a picnic with family the gardens are a perfect day out. Complete with child’s play park and a bandstand for live entertainment, the park has it all. Taking a walk along the lime trees that keep the park separate from the nearby busy road is highly recommended.
