To ensure that we are providing a safe environment we have set out the following questions, information and conditions that will help us to safeguard all parties involved in the sale of property. We ask that you read through the information below and ensure that you are able to support us in agreeing to these conditions. In the first instance, it is our responsibility to ask about the health of our customers and ask that you complete the below form honestly.

If any answers to the COVID-19 questions above cause concern then your agent may not be able to continue with a viewing to the property and will be in touch to discuss all measures have been taken to ensure that those coming to view the property are no longer at risk of transmitting COVID-19.

A property you would like to view in person:

  • The agent will turn up 10 minutes before any viewings to ensure the property is prepared for viewings and that all contact surfaces have been cleaned.
  • Viewers are asked to wash hands ideally using a hand sanitiser prior to entering and leaving a property - the agent can supply you with some if required.
  • Only one professional and up to two other adults will attend viewings.
  • Where viewers need to be accompanied by small children they must be kept close and prevented from touching surfaces.
  • Physical viewings must be limited to members of the same household. If you are a couple who are not in the same household and you both wish to view the property, we ask you to book separate viewings.
  • The agent will show you around the property as far as is practical whilst maintaining social distancing.
  • Please avoid touching surfaces. If you have gloves please ensure that you use them together with disinfectant wipes.
  • Some more vulnerable visitors and occupants may ask people present to wear non-surgical face coverings.
  • Any feedback on the property must be discussed outside whilst maintaining social distancing or after the visit via phone or email

We also feel that its important to explain what we are doing to prioritise your health and safety as we continue to work together.

We promise to do the following and keep contact to a minimum:
  • No open house viewings will take place.
  • Only one estate agent and up to two other adults will attend viewings. We will ensure that as far as practical in the property we keep to the social distancing guidelines of at least 2m (6 feet).
  • Every time a viewer comes to see your property they will have been sentour ‘Health and Safety Information for Viewers’ which requires them to sign to say they are not demonstrating any symptoms or been in contact with anyone exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19 plus other requirements to keep themselves and our clients safe.
  • In line with Government guidelines on social distancing, Knock Knock may have to restrict the number of people attending the property viewing.Your Knock Knock agent will discuss this with you when arranging the viewing.
  • Physical viewings will be limited to members of the same household. eg If a couple wish to view but are currently living in separate households, we will advise them to book separate viewings.
  • If you wish for all those visiting your property to wear a face mask/covering you must ensure your estate agent is made aware in advance of the viewing.
  • Your estate agent will ask if it is possible for you to leave the property during viewings, so do advise if this is not possible (Could you go for a walk, do your food shopping or be out in the garden?)
  • The agent will ensure that post visit all feed back is carried out remotely to limit the time at the property and social contact.
 If our agent  is not present at a viewing, they will ask all those attending to declare they have no symptoms and keep a record that highlights everyone has understood the need to meet the safety guidelines.
